Ride to Read with Oshawa Public Libraries and Durham Region Transit! Throughout the summer children enrolled in the TD Summer Reading Club can ride DRT for free through the Ride to Read programme. August passes are now available at your nearest branch. Children in elementary school (Kindergarten to Grade 8) will receive special stickers on their library cards when they register for the TD Summer Summer Reading Club. These stickers turn their library card into a transit pass. An adult will need to accompany those children 10 years of age and under, and will be required to pay the regular adult fare. For Durham Region Transit information, route maps, and schedules, please visit Durham Transit.
All Durham Region libraries are participating in this exciting programme!
